This is a guided food and cultural tour where you ride pillion on a motorbike behind one of our expert local guides. You’ll visit hidden gems, experience local life in four different districts of Ho Chi Minh City, and taste up to 12 authentic Vietnamese dishes and drinks. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience for foodies and adventure lovers alike.

2. Is the tour safe? I’ve never been on a motorbike before.

Absolutely! Your safety is our top priority. All of our riders are licensed, experienced, and trained in safe driving practices. We provide helmets, rain ponchos (if needed), and always go at a relaxed, comfortable pace. Even if you’ve never been on a scooter before, most of our guests find it fun and easy to enjoy.

3. What if it rains? Will the tour still happen?

Yes! Rain or shine, our tours run every day. We provide high-quality rain ponchos for all guests and riders. Some of the most memorable street food experiences happen under the drizzle, just like the locals do. However, if the weather is extreme or unsafe, we may offer a reschedule or refund.

4. Is the tour suitable for vegetarians or vegans?

Yes, we offer a vegetarian option and a private vegan option. Just let us know your dietary preferences at the time of booking, and we’ll customize your tasting menu. Vietnam has a variety of plant-based street food that’s both delicious and unique.

5. How long is the tour?

The tour lasts between 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic, group size, and the number of tastings you choose. You’ll visit multiple districts, sample different dishes, and see off-the-beaten-path places that regular tourists often miss.

We offer two options:

  • 7 Tastings + Sightseeing
  • 12 Tastings (Full Food Tour)

Both include stops for iconic dishes like Bún Bò Huế, Bánh Mì, Grilled banana with coconut milk, Spring Rolls, and desserts like flan cake and che. Drinks like sugarcane juice, jasmine tea, and Saigon Beer are also part of the fun!

7. What districts do we visit?

The tour explores the real heart of Saigon, including Districts 1, 3, 4, and 10. These areas offer a mix of vibrant street food culture, historical landmarks, local markets, and authentic neighborhoods where you can truly connect with Saigonese life.

8. Where does the tour start and end?

Pickup and drop-off are available within Districts 1, 3, and 4 (depending on your booking option). We will coordinate your pickup location via email or WhatsApp before the tour begins. If you’re staying outside of these districts, we’ll suggest the nearest convenient meeting point.

9. Can I request a female rider?

Yes! We are proud to offer the “7 Tastings with Female Rider” option for travelers who prefer to ride with a female guide. Just select this preference during your booking process.

10. Is tipping expected?

Tipping is not required, but it is greatly appreciated if you enjoyed your experience. It’s a nice way to thank your rider/guide for sharing their time, stories, and navigating Saigon’s lively streets!

11. Is accident insurance included?

No, accident insurance is not included in the tour. We highly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance before joining the tour to ensure coverage for any unforeseen events.

12. What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes suitable for riding on a motorbike (pants or shorts and closed-toe shoes). Avoid skirts, dresses, or sandals. A light jacket or poncho can be useful depending on the weather.

13. Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking in advance to ensure availability, especially during weekends and peak travel seasons. Last-minute bookings are accepted but subject to availability.

14. Is the tour kid-friendly?

Yes, children aged 7 and above are welcome on the tour, as long as they are comfortable riding on the back of a motorbike with a guide. For families with younger kids or special needs, please contact us directly to discuss private or customized options.

15. Can I join if I have food allergies?

Yes, but please let us know in advance about any allergies or dietary restrictions (e.g., shellfish, peanuts, gluten). Our team will do their best to accommodate your needs, though we cannot guarantee 100% allergen-free dishes due to cross-contamination in local kitchens.

Yes. We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. If you need to reschedule, just contact us as early as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
